2005 Revana Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2005 vintage is arguably our finest yet. The wine exudes elegance. The aromas are beautifully perfumed and the palate shows layers of flavor, silky texture and explosive yet refined fruit. It is truly an exceptional wine.

Heidi Barrett’s tasting notes:
“Dark ruby in color with deep aromas of black cherry, coca powder, toast, and spice. On the palate it is very elegant and silky with bright purity of fruit and medium body. The cherry flavors echo the aromas. Nice mid-palate texture without a trace of raw tannins. Good length at this tasting which will only get better with time in the bottle. Oak is used only as an accent here and adds to the layering of flavor components and complexity. Great potential.”
