For over a decade we have worked with a selection of the most prized vineyard blocks from Cold Springs Vineyard to produce a truly ageworthy style of Cabernet Sauvignon that is undeniably Howell Mountain. Deep, powerful, and structured with refined tannins and a super-eruption of flavor from high-elevation volcanic soils. The 2022 Revana Cold Springs Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine that floats above your palate with myraid of blackberries, dark chocolate, and crème du cassis with dried crushed forest notes.

Old Vine Cabernet Sauvignon from one of Napa Valley’s most historic vineyards, responsible for many of the most celebrated bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Stags Leap District over the past 50 years. We are fortunate to work with a single prized vineyard block (Block F) that Dick Steltzner originally planted in 1964. Located in the rockiest area on his ranch near the base of the Stags Leap palisade with exceptional drainage, and vines thrive despite the harsh, arid conditions. Our resulting wines showcase unmistakable old vine complexity. A level fo elegance that frames wines of great refinement with polished tannins, perfectly ripened red and black fruits, and the structure needed to stand the test of time for 30+ years. 2022 Revana ‘Steltzner Vineyard’ is a classic Cabernet Sauvignon and worthy of every collector’s cellar.

Only a handful of barrels are produced from a tiny pocket within the Round Pond Vineyard, ‘Block 11B’ a microsite renowned for its highly unusual gravelly soils.
With vibrant and diverse soils deposited over millenia by the Napa and Russian Rivers as well as Conn Creek, this small area of the vineyard produces a stunning structure with a purity of fruit and complexity of flavor that is unique within the Rutherford AVA.
