2023 Revana Estate Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
Our Estate Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
Created entirely from grapes grown in the Revana Estate Vineyard, Revana Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is the first wine conceived by Dr. Revana and the realization of his dream to experience the world through land and its wines to share with others.
Each block is harvested by hand at peak ripeness. Whole clusters are sorted, discarding any flawed ones. The remaining clusters are gently destemmed, and berries are optically sorted so only perfect fruit goes into each bottle. Revana Estate wines are aged in 100% French oak and varied coopers and toast levels bring out the personality of each vineyard block.
The nose opens with lifted aromatics of pomegranate, rose hip, and Luxardo cherry, layered with subtle notes of anise. On the palate, the wine is plush and round, framed by velvety tannins and a core of savory complexity. Flavors of dried plum, black olive, and spice box unfold alongside hints of dried herbs, sage, and rustic earth. Integrated oak adds nuance without overpowering, while balanced acidity and a streak of minerality carry the wine through a long, composed finish. Elegant yet austere, this Cabernet Sauvignon is a thoughtful expression of its estate origins.

2023 Revana Estate ‘Shifflett Ranch’ Merlot / Cabernet Franc
The aromatics are expressive and layered, opening with notes of sassafras, cherry cola, and dark muddled fruits, accented by hints of moss, cedar, and lifted perfume. The palate is savory and textural, driven by wet stone minerality and nuanced herbal tones of rosemary and thyme. Flavors of fruit leather unfold alongside tobacco leaf and cocoa, adding depth and warmth. Elegant white floral notes bring lift and balance, carrying through to a composed, lingering finish that highlights the vineyard’s character and complexity.

These twenty-year-old vines nested within the forest on the steep southern slope of Howell Mountain at 1,800’ feet elevation were planted and farmed by legendary vineyard manager, Jim Barbour. The steep volcanic soils produce incredibly small berries that ripen slowly and create wines of astonishing power that float across the palate with a timeless elegance.

2023 Revana ‘Stone River’

Produced from the crown jewel vineyard block (Block 11b) at Round Pond Estate within a small gravel pocket from the original Rancho Caymus property in the heart of the Rutherford AVA. We are honored to be the only winery that has access to this storied block at Round Pond. This extremely well-drained area produces incredibly complex and silky Cabernet unique to Rutherford. The abundant sun exposure, warm daytime temperatures, and moderate cooling influences allow Rutherford to yield fruit with a ripe, robust character. The AVA’s unique alluvial soils were deposited over millennia by the Napa and Russian rivers as well as the Conn Creek, making Round Pond vineyard a prime producer of Cabernet Sauvignon that adds a complexity of flavor and embodies a ripe and robust character.

Nestled in the rocky Stags Leap District palisades on the eastern side of Napa Valley you will find the historic Steltzner Vineyard. Originally planted in 1964, this vineyard has inspired many of the most celebrated and storied wines in the history of Napa Valley. We are honored to produce a few barrels from a single block to produce a wine of exquisite complexity with stunning perfumed fruit unique to these prized old vines.

A mere two barrels are produced from this single legendary vineyard block of the final remaining old vines within the most iconic vineyard in Napa Valley, Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard. Winemaker, Thomas Rivers Brown has produced an extensive lineage of 100-point wines from these vines over the past two decades and in 2022 Revana Estate was selected to continue the legacy from these storied vines and received a perfect 100-point rating on our inaugural vintage.

Originally planted in 1868 by H.W. Crabb on the western Oakville bench sits Napa Valley’s most iconic vineyard: Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard. Each year, Andy Beckstoffer allocates vineyard blocks to a small group of storied wineries. Revana Estate is part of this illustrious group, receiving a few rows of this legendary Cabernet Sauvignon. We are honored to work with one of the world’s most iconic vineyards; celebrating the impeccable fruit it provides which contains an unexplainable magic.

This coveted Cabernet Sauvignon is offered solely to our Membership and continually sells out upon release each year.

Bathed in the warm California sun, Weitz Vineyard grows Cabernet Sauvignon that embodies the essence of this world-renowned grape variety. This fruit forward wine comes from the eastern Oakville Bench, known for its red volcanic soil. Finessed by our attentive winemaking process, this wine expresses dark savory notes complemented by subtle undertones of cedar and vanilla, and balanced with with silky tannins and a long, graceful finish that lingers on the palate.
